For our latest news on CTR – Scroll down after this important notice  – Updated February/March 2019

Latest News regarding the Project CityTravelReview.  Since 2007 the CityTravelReview project has been run together via Motion Placements Ltd and its sister partner Company Curso eG.

We have made the decision in order to simplify and streamline our working practices from October 1st 2018 the Project will run fully under the company Curso instead of the two as we have  simply merged the project under 1 Organisation.  For all Project Members‘ the only main difference will be that documentation such as our Project Schedules, Application forms, Arrival details, Bank details, Invoices, confirmed payment documents etc…will now only include Curso’s official company registration details and banking details.

Please note that these changes will come into play fully from 1st October 2018.

zuerst möchte ich mich für die tolle Zeit bei CTR bedanken. Dieses Praktikum war mit Abstand einer meiner besten Erfahrungen bis jetzt.

Erstmal möchte ich sagen, dass ich eine wundervolle Zeit im Rahmen des Projekts hatte und dabei viel über Journalismus gelernt, sowie neue Freunde gefunden habe. Danke fürs Ermöglichen und Organisieren! Außerdem noch vielen Dank für das ausführliche Referenzschreiben.

We have few places remaining on our CTR Projects. We have not as yet closed off our applications however we will shortly start to close off dates for our 2019 as teams are close to being full.

We recently exhibited the CityTravelReview Projects at the Overseas Opportinities Fair at Nottingham University in th UK. (February 2019).

Funding- useful information for those that require help?

For those enrolled in the University of Nottingham- It is still worth enquiring if you are entitled to any form of funding as currently there is a fund in place for those that meet the criteria.

CityTravelReview @Work Experience Work Abroad Fair in Coventry University

CityTravelReview was recently at The Work Experience and Work Abroad Fair held at Coventry University.  Thanks all to the friendly staff at Coventry University that organised the event!

CityTravelReview Celebrates more than 10 years of projects.

Originally when the CityTravelReview Projects were set up, our initial aim was to create unique projects for young people that had the potential to have a long-term positive benefit to any person taking part within the team.  We wanted to create projects that were fun and interactive meanwhile also being a productive use of time whereby the participants‘ could learn by doing in a real life setting.  After our first ever ‚Test project‘ in Berlin the projects have gone on from strength to strength and we soon went on to create projects in other locations such as in Edinburgh, Madrid, Lyon & Barcelona using the same concept. We have held many successful, lively and  indeed fulfilling projects.  As the time has gone by these projects have been positively recognised worldwide by many Universities, the European Union, Educational institutions and other organisations within the field of study working experience projects.  We have had now thousands of Project Members‘ through our doors and we are pleased to say that the projects have indeed made a very positive impact on many people’s lives with a truly worthwhile experience that they look back on fondly!

We would like to thank all Staff, Project Member’s, institutions, organisations, those we have partnerships with and all those individuals that have believed in our vision & supported the projects in some form or at some level. The projects have been a real team effort and we’re looking forward to a tremendously enjoyable 2018 CityTravelReview working season!

We will travelling around the UK during end of January until mid February conducting presentations on the CTR Projects at a few selected Universities.  Dates and locations to follow on first week of January.  SO stay Tuned!
